Welcome! I’m glad you’ve made it to this page of our website. I am incredibly honored and privileged to serve as the lead elder/pastor of the Moberly Seventh-day Adventist Church. My precious mother (Shami) and I moved to the Moberly area in September of 2023. Prior to ministering in Moberly, I served the Gladstone and Independence Seventh-day Adventist churches in the Kansas City area since 2020. I graduated from Andrew’s Theological Seminary in August of 2020 with a Master’s of Divinity.
I’d say one of the most interesting things about myself is I speak the language (Aramaic) which Jesus spoke when He was here on Earth. My parents, siblings and I are descendants of the Assyrians found in the book of Jonah, in which we immigrated to the United States when I was three years old. I was raised in the city of Big Shoulders, or better known as the Windy City, Chicago. I definitely prefer much more the rural setting of Moberly though. The things that help me to relax on my down time is reading, basketball, hiking, and spending quality time with others in God’s great outdoors.
I’m passionate about seeing people come to know Jesus in a way that enables them to be on mission for the glory of God. The thing that brings me the greatest joy is seeing members’ faces overwhelmed with the joy of the Lord when they themselves become fishers of men and women. I pray and hope that you too can join us on this fishing journey with Jesus!
